As a Director at UIDAI, I oversee the integration of identity solutions for the Western Region, Banks, and Financial Sector AUAs, ensuring efficiency and user trust across Central and State Governments, with a special focus on the Financial Sector. My role centers on outreach, operational efficiency, and performance monitoring to expand Direct Benefit Transfers through authentication. I develop strategies for implementing Digital ID systems and collaborate with multilateral agencies on both national and international platforms.

Ensuring stringent compliance both internally and externally is a significant part of my responsibilities. This involves reviewing data usage, identifying and investigating fraud incidents, and developing robust mechanisms to mitigate fraud and enhance data security. Managing fraud and investigations is crucial to safeguarding the integrity of the identity systems and maintaining public trust. My team proactively monitors and investigates cases of identity theft to protect users’ identities and enhance service reliability, effectively mitigating financial frauds based on identity manipulation.
